A textile floor covering absorbs up to ten times more sound than a hard floor covering. The broadloom carpets from the STAY Hotel Collection are equipped with the texback contract backing as standard or, as with the Dacapo and Lyrica products, with the texback super backing. From a minimum quantity of 400 m², the carpet qualities can be equipped with the COMFORTBACK acoustic backing as an optional extra. The already good sound values are then increased even further.
The COMFORTBACK acoustic backing
… increases the already good values for impact sound insulation by another dB. In addition, it improves thermal insulation and thus reduces energy costs. Installed with adhesive fixation, it facilitates replacement during subsequent renovation.
In addition to the improved acoustic values, the special back construction increases walking comfort and reduces muscle fatigue. It thus contributes to a greater sense of well-being.

COMFORTBACK acoustic backing does not use any substances that could release harmful emissions into the room air. This also has the advantage that carpets of the STAY Hotel Collection are odourless.
In addition, they significantly reduce fine dust in the interior, which is why even allergy sufferers can breathe a sigh of relief, because all textile floor coverings from Vorwerk flooring are ideally suited for people who suffer from allergies.

The COMFORTBACK backing, which is optionally available for STAY hotel collection carpets, is a calendered, highly compressed fleece. It is made of 100% recycled polyester.
